Nepal Education Foundation – Consortium of Colleges, Nepal (NEF-CCN), by its very name is a consortium, comprising of three reputed colleges, each of which has an excellent academic track record, a strong sense of corporate social responsibility, and a development-oriented forward looking vision, to offer quality education of international standard to both Nepalese and non-Nepalese. NEF-CCN, and the colleges operating under its umbrella, is committed to promote research and development as well as provide consulting services and training so as to enrich its academic programs.

NEF-CCN was informally constituted on 8 July 2010 and duly registered with the relevant entity of Government of Nepal on 8 March 2011 to promote academic institutions, establish strategic linkages and partnerships within and outside of Nepal and also explore and promote the establishment of our own private university, namely Sagarmatha University.

NEF-CCN comprises of three reputed colleges, namely LA College of Higher Studies (LACHS –, Asian Institute of Technology & Management (AITM –, and Xavier Academy College of Graduate Studies (XACGS- NEF-CCN academic institutions have an excellent track record in the education sector within the country and the key members of this consortium have more than 40 years of work experience in the education sector in and outside the country. It is on the basis of this excellent academic track record and reputation of its colleges that NEF-CCN is in partnerships with prestigious national and international universities to jointly offer and manage innovative academic programs, which are responsive to the changing needs of this highly competitive and globalized world.

Beyond Nepal, NEF-CCN consortium colleges are collaborating with the prestigious Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Bangkok, Thailand, International Management Institute, Luzern, Switzerland, SolBridge International School of Business, Daejeon, S. Korea and Angelo State University, Texas, USA. Discussions are ongoing to explore strategic partnership with Strathclyde Business School, Glasgow, UK.
